EXPERIENCE

I bring years of honorable public service and a career built through frontline law enforcement, supervision, command, and service as a Chief of Police at the city, county, and tribal levels.

 

Early in my career, I served with the Barrow County Sheriff’s Office, Winder Police Department, and Walton County Sheriff’s Office. I also served along the United States southern border as an Operations Commander with the Cocopah Indian Tribe Police Department, where I was involved in major public-safety operations, including Operation Stonegarden alongside Border Patrol.

Today, I serve as Director of School Operations and School Marshal. As Director of Operations, I manage several non academic departments to include IT, custodial services, front-desk operations, and facility maintenance. As School Marshal, I manage campus safety and security operations with full law-enforcement authority.

​

Throughout my career, I have led departments ranging from a 1-person operation to more than 120 personnel. My command experience includes Patrol, Criminal Investigations, Training, Communications and Dispatch, Special Operations, senior supervisors, and executive command staff.

My experience is not limited to government service. In the private sector, I managed state-licensed armed and unarmed security officers and investigators, including personnel serving both with and without law-enforcement authority.

 

As Director of Corporate Global Security for a Fortune 250 company, I was responsible for approximately 3,800 security man-hours across many locations each week. That required careful staffing, scheduling, budgeting, performance management, and daily operational oversight. This experience provides me with the expertise to manage jail and courthouse security to protect judges, jurors, citizens, and staff.

I understand how to lead people, manage complex operations, hold supervisors accountable, and use resources responsibly. Most importantly, I understand that every division must work together toward the same goal: supporting employees, serving the public, and keeping the community safe

During my eight-year military career, I ultimately served as a frontline leader with a Brigade Combat Team and Rapid Deployment Force. That experience strengthened my ability to lead under pressure, make sound decisions, and remain focused on the mission while supporting the people entrusted to my leadership.

Throughout my journey, I have been guided by a deep belief in the power of collaboration, proactive engagement, and the importance of building trust. I believe strong leadership begins with listening, bringing people together, and creating an environment where individuals feel respected, supported, and empowered to succeed.
